About the Creator

Daniel Paprocki was a German born mischling identified as a "brown baby" of the post-WWII occupation era and became 1of 5 children in the second largest family of closed adoption children to enter the U.S. under the Grammer Plan. Naturalized in the U.S. and raised as Daniel Cardwell. Daniel attended Howard University where he made an accidental discovery about his past in 1978 which guided his search for over 25 years, to find his parents. Having answered many of the questions about his past including reuniting with his relatives in Chicago and the Check Republic, he continues to seek clarification on identification as an American and serve as a source of help to other war babies questioning their identity with hopes of uniting with others like themselves. He is currently writing a book and a screenplay documenting the plight & contribution of " brown babies" as "Grammer children" in America and abroad.
