"Brown Babies", a call for "help" from the international academic community. (x)

Years ago Yara –Colette Lemke Muniz de Faria published an article in Europe entitled” Germany’s ‘Brown Baby Must Be Helped! Will You?” This article, available through Callaloo in 2003, drew the attention of the international community about a social dilemma unfolding. Until this article the need surrounding such a dilemma seemed not to be fully realized in the U.S. and Germany. Both countries have had to overcome unique racial obstacles if they were to help the brown babies. We (brown babies) are the product of this dilemma and hold the key to answering questions about the success or failure surrounding the international ‘Brown Baby Plan’. Now, America’s former Brown Babies must speak out. Will you?
