All of the 'grammer children' share a hidden common bond. Doris McMillon, author of "Mixed Blessings,” suggested a reunion of former ‘brown babies.’ This could prove to be a healing event providing closure for those seeking identity among their "own kind" or reinvigorate those searching for their biological relatives. Thus, a reunion of Brown Babies is planned where we were last seen together in the U.S., the old Idlewild Airport section of now Kennedy Airport in N.Y. The tentative dates are October 3rd thru 9th of 2008. This is where our tiny feet touched American soil for the first time. This is where we left our German past to start a new life. Some of us may need to walk up to the customs booth once again, this time by choice, and start our American lives again.
